Being an engineering major may seem difficult to some people. For me, it was a breeze. It definitely was not due to my 'intellect' or 'genius math brain' (direct quotes from my mother), but it was easy because I had my sisters right beside me doing the exact same work. Many of my chapter sisters were the same major as me which was awesome. No, we did not just share homework and get A's but we stayed in the lib 24 hours, 7 days a week with each other doing actual work. The tedious, strenuous, mind blowing work that hurt your head was do-able because of our designated deepher table at the library. One person would go and grab 5 coffees to ensure everyone was up at wee hours of the night. My perfect little would visit me at the library just for a hug.

My sisters gave me confidence, excitement, and pride when it came to my education. They never compared grades with me and they never made me feel dumb even when I told them my grade (sometimes the lowest of them all). My favorite was getting texts before tests wishing me luck or reminding me what the equation of water runoff on an impervious pavement was.
With these undergraduate memories comes post graduation obligations.
I promise to uphold these morals and memories I cherish so much and pass them on to other sisters around me. I promise to return to my chapter and spread justice, sisterhood, and love so that they remember to share with the new members and new sisters. I don't know where I would be today without joining this organization. With these promises, I am excited to announce our Alumnae Association is recognized and my fellow LT is just as excited as I am!
